OUR HISTORY
Over Fifty Years Building Chattanooga
Atlas Bolt & Supply began on April 1, 1969, under Al Walker and Barry Underwood. Vietnam Veteran Charles Stansell joined the company in 1976, becoming the manager before purchasing the business in 1998. The company remained at its original Chattanooga location on 615 East Main Street until 2016, when growth prompted a move to Rossville Boulevard. Renamed Atlas Bolt & Supply Inc. in 2015, the company broadened its product lines and continued expanding. In 2023, Stephen Stansell became president, carrying forward the family’s legacy of growth and innovation.
